Random thoughts and stylings

I know I am a few weeks late to the game on this, but it is a beautiful fall day today so I just wanted to give pause and comment on world around me. The temperature is about 60 degrees and the fall colors are in full bloom.

What a gorgeous time of year. I will admit it is not my favorite time of year, but I do respect the beauty that is around us during this brief period between summer and winter in the Midwest. The colors are like a painting. The smells and aromas like home, in fact the cafe down the street is brewing hot apple cider. What a great smell. Even the sounds are musical this time of year. The breeze now brings the rattle of leaves blowing across the sidewalk and the sound of them shaking in the trees.

If you get a chance in the next couple days take pause and look around at nature and breath deeply. It is an awe inspiring view to behold.
